CHECK OUT OUR NEW THERAPEUTIC LASER!

We have added the latest technology for joint and soft tissue pain problems, the Companion Therapy Laser.  This Laser reduces swelling in joints and soft tissues which dramatically reduces pain caused by pressure.  Treatments last 3 to 6 minutes per site and require no anesthesia.  Laser Therapy can be used for chronic conditions and may reduce the need for injections or oral medications.  To learn more please call one of our staff, talk to one of our veterinarians or visit this website, www.paininthepast.com

INTRODUCING OUR NEW DOCTOR!!

As many of you know, we have been experiencing growing pains and have interviewed several veterinarians for a permanent position.  We are pleased to announce as of Aug 2, 2010, Dr. Amber Carr will be joining our staff.  Dr. Carr embodies the philosophy that both Dr. Johnson and Dr. Wichman endeavored to create at Bennetts Creek Veterinary Care.  With three full time vets, we will be better able to provide the level of care our patients and clients deserve and expect.  Please feel free to stop by the clinic and meet Dr. Carr. We are so excited to have her as a part of our staff!

EVE'S ORPHANS

Eve's Orphans is a non-registered charity that was created by the doctors and staff at Bennetts Creek Veterinary Care to provide funding for the care of orphaned and abandoned animals that would otherwise be euthanized.  It was named for our very first adoptee, a stray pit bull with many health problems.  We were able to treat her and find her a great new home, but at considerable expense. By donating to the Eve's Orphans fund, you are helping us to provide reduced-cost care to many of those pets that need it

Our current rescue case came from the Suffolk Humane Shelter as a result of a cruelty case.  After evaluating the dog, a young, gorgeous Pit Bull, it was determined that one of his hind legs would need to be amputated and he would need to undergo heartworm treatment.  If the Eve's Orphans fund was not set up then this sweet, beautiful dog would have to go back to the shelter and would be euthanized.

Eve's Orphans is able to help save pets with donations from people who love animals as much as we all do here at BCVC.  Please let us know if you would be willing to make a donation to save another life.  We can accept payment in any form including credit cards just call our front staff at 757-483-5990.
